Admittedly, this picture was taken last Sunday, but it really captured an amazing moment. Geralyn and I decided to head out to the Fellsway, just outside of Boston, for some country jogging. Once we arrived we stopped by the information booth and spoke with the park ranger about which trail we should hit up for the best scenery. We took his advice and headed out. The trail essentially circled around a cool little reservoir, that was half covered in ice. Although, after throwing several rocks at the body of semi-solid water, we quickly learned that it was by no means safe to walk on. To our surprise, a woman was playing fetch with her yellow lab into the reservoir. The dog didn’t even seem remotely phased by the cold. In fact, the dog genuinely seemed to love it. On a side note, Geralyn was goosed by a South African Ridgeback. I guess there is a first for everything…
